Additive Machines stock a select range of filament and accessories that are designed to work with the SignMaker Series of machines. Our filaments are tried and tested and built to meet the needs of sign making professionals.

  • Stronger than PLA and less brittle than ABS, making it ideal for indoor signs that needs to last.

  • Prints easily with minimal warping, good layer adhesion, and doesn’t require a heated enclosure, unlike ASA.

  • Withstands up to ~80°C, better than PLA but lower than ASA.

PETG is a durable thermoplastic filament ideal for indoor signage and display components. Known for its excellent impact resistance and clarity, PETG will also block out light —making it perfect for illuminated channel letter enclosures. Our Indoor Filament is compatible with Diffuse and is available in black and white colour options.

  • Diffuses light evenly, ideal for backlit signage or side wall illuminated displays, or decorative elements that glow.

  • Smooth surfaces can be achieved with minimal sanding or polishing, enhancing clarity for signage applications.

  • Delivers uniform brightness across the full sign. Even when switching to Indoor White or Black mid-print for contrast or blockout zones.

Our Diffuse filament is a specialised PETG-based material designed for indoor signage. It allows light to softly glow through printed parts, creating elegant edge illumination. Diffuse is durable and can be printed in combination with our Indoor Filament.

Our ASA based Outdoor Filament is the ideal choice for project that will be installed outside. This filament is UV stable which prevents ‘yellowing’ and provides reliable, long-term performance in exterior environments.

  • Highly resistant to UV light, moisture, and temperature fluctuations, preventing yellowing or degradation over time.

  • Comparable to ABS, offering high impact resistance and rigidity for durable signage structures.

  • Produces smooth, professional-looking parts with good layer adhesion, though it may require post-processing for a complete blockout effect.
